Dear Families,
Welcome to the first Chelsea Day School newsletter! Each Sunday evening, you’ll receive a weekly update from me. These newsletters will keep you informed about upcoming events, offer parenting tips, provide insights from various classrooms, and help us all stay connected as a community. I encourage you to make reading them a regular part of your routine.
Our annual Back to School meeting for parents will be held on Monday, September 9. This is a valuable opportunity for us all to come together. Please arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 p.m. You’ll visit your child’s classroom, where teachers will be ready to greet you. Feel free to explore the classroom, chat with your child’s teachers, and meet other parents. This portion of the evening will be informal and relaxed. At 7:15 p.m., we’ll gather in the Big Room to kick off the 2024-2025 school year.
We’ve been busy this week preparing the school for all of you. Materials are organized, cubbies are labeled, and everything is sparkling clean. We’re excited to welcome you on Monday and your children on Wednesday.

By the first day of school, please:
- Submit your Health Form
- Fill out the Emergency Release Form
- Double-check your Back to School Checklist
- Update your Brightwheel profile: address, phone number, child’s photo, approved pickups, and DOB
